Links
First, my own sites (other than this one):
Diary of an Odinic Witch - My LiveJournal, which is friends-only. In the interests of keeping my friends list manageable, I usually only add people I know in real life or will probably meet at some point. I probably won't add you unless there's a damn good reason, but well, now you know it exists.
Odhroerir Kindred - My Kindred's site.
Wild Hunt Press - My publishing imprint, specializing in eccentric and unusual Pagan books, both fiction and nonfiction. So far, only my newest book (Water from the Well and Other Wyrd Tales of Odin, a collection of stories and poems written for and about Odin) is up there, but more is coming soon.
Next, sites maintained by other people, some of them friends of mine. My inclusion of a site here doesn't necessarily mean I agree with everything it has to say, but that I have found it a valuable source of information and ideas and think you might, too.
The Chalice of Living Stars - The 8th coven in the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel, which I hope to be dedicating to when it officially forms later this year.
Cauldron Farm - The writings of Northern Tradition shaman Raven Kaldera. (If you're at all interested in spirit work, read his books, too.)
Asphodel Press - Unusual, controversial, and excellently written Pagan books. Several of my friends have titles available (or soon to be available) through them.
Iron Wood Kindred - A woo-friendly, non-racist and non-homophobic kindred dedicated to Loki and Angrboda and honoring the Rokkr, Jotnar, Duergar, and Alfar as well as the Aesir and Vanir. Based in New England but also includes long-distance members. (NOT connected with the Ironwood Kindred Asatru Kindred group.)
Hrafnar - A somewhat notorious (believe me, they would take that as a compliment) California Kindred headed by Diana L. Paxson. Features many of her articles on various Heathen topics.
Seeing for the People - Diana's oracular seidhr site. There are several good articles posted here as well.
A Vanic Hedgewitch's Hearth - The personal site of my friend Sigrun Hildiwulf Freyskona. There are some very good articles here as well as great information about maintaining a devotional practice. She also makes and sells ritual items, runes, and more.
Firefly Pages - Articles on working with plant spirits and other aspects of spirit work, by my friend Silence Maestas. If you feel called to the path of sacred plants at all, I strongly advise you to read what he has to say on the subject.
Wildivine - The mystical path of Hellenic Polytheism as followed by two friends of mine, Oinokhoe and Sannion.
Sannion's Sanctuary - Wonderful and witty writings on Hellenic Polytheism.
A Forest Door - Musings on spirit work and the mantic arts by my good friend Dver. Who is also, by the way, an absolutely incredible Oracle (of Apollon, as in "of Delphi")--very talented.
Neos Alexandria - Greco-Egyptian Syncretism. Isis was one of the earliest Goddesses to approach me (in childhood), and Kleopatra VII was my idol and role model from the age of seven until well into my teens. If Odin didn't have dibs, I would definitely be a member of this fabulous organization.
The Art of Helena Domenic - A gorgeous online gallery of works by a talented artist and good friend. Many of her paintings feature Gods, Goddesses, angels, and the fae, and are available as prints that would make lovely focal points for altars. (She painted the portrait of Odin and Gunnlod that illustrates the Solar page, for example.)
The Viking Answer Lady - Lots of good (and often surprising) information on how the Vikings really lived and what they really believed and practiced. Not to be missed!
The Preserving Shrine - Writings on Filidecht (the practice of sacred ritual poetcraft in early Irish and Scottish tradition) by Erynn Rowan Laurie.
The Firebird's Song - My friend Terra Morganell's musings on Goddess spirituality.
Odin's Gift - An extensive collection of Heathen poetry and songs, along with tips for poets.
