Oracular Seidhr by Gunnlod-Hjarta

I perform oracular seidhr on or around each of the eight high holy days of the Wheel of the Year. At these times, I journey to the Well of Wyrd and sometimes other places to seek answers to questions submitted to me by querents. Generally, I begin at or shortly after sundown, so if you have submitted a question and would like to make a libation to Odin to coordinate with my session (which I highly recommend!), that would be a good time to do so.
Standard disclaimer: Potential querents should be aware that my practice is an extremely Odin-centric one and probably bears a greater resemblance to that of the Oracle of Delphi (in the sense that she spoke primarily as a priestess of Apollon, while I speak primarily as a priestess of Odin) than what is generally seen in traditional seidhr. This does not mean that I will not deliver messages from other God/desses, upon request; what it does mean is that replies will come from Odin by default (with Mimir and the Well-Wight sometimes weighing in also) if no other perspective is specifically requested. (Please note, again, that I am making no claim that this is what seidhr "normally" consists of, as performed by most modern practitioners; I am simply describing my own practice.
The Odin-centric nature of what I do is something querents may want to keep in mind, as Odin's viewpoint--although extremely wise and insightful, as well as far-seeing-- is very, very (VERY) far from being impartial or detached. Anyone who has serious issues with the Old Man may want to either find a different seeress (I can make recommendations upon request) or make a point of specifying Who you want me to seek an answer from. Most sessions involve my going to the Well or various other locations in Asgard by default, as pulling that realm closer to this one (and/or vice-versa) is a huge component of my Work, though other locations are also possibilities, as needed.

The version of oracular seidhr I practice is being taught to me directly by Odin, rather than a human teacher. In order to help me continually refine and improve my performance, feedback is essential. Therefore, if you request an oracle I ask that you please take a moment after receiving your answer to contact me with any comments or reactions you may have, even if it's only to say, "I have no idea what that means, but I'll let you know if I figure it out eventually." Often, the meaning of a vision or a message doesn't become apparent until sometime afterwards, while in other cases it may immediately "click" with you. In any case, both short-term and long-term feedback is deeply appreciated!
